AI, Software & Data Science for complex operational problems

Aivahn Ltd builds intelligent software products, delivers data science solutions and applies AI to sectors where planning and decision-making haven't kept pace with the organisations they serve.

Aivahn works across three disciplines — AI, software engineering and data science — to solve hard operational problems. We build products, develop analytical solutions and deploy AI in environments where complexity, constraints and real-world messiness demand more than off-the-shelf tools.

Founded by Adriaan van Heerden — a Cambridge PhD with over twenty years of experience in healthcare, public sector transformation and commercial analytics — Aivahn combines deep domain knowledge with modern technology to build things that work in the real world.

AI & Machine Learning

Practical AI integrated into operational tools — from intelligent extraction and summarisation to predictive systems and constraint-based optimisation grounded in real data.

Software Products & SaaS

Purpose-built platforms that replace manual processes with structured, auditable workflows — designed for specific domains, not generic project management.

Data Science & Analytics

Modelling, analysis and decision support that surfaces actionable insight from operational data — performance diagnostics, demand modelling and uplift analysis.

Bespoke Development

Custom tools and integrations built on modern cloud infrastructure — when an off-the-shelf product doesn't exist for the problem you're facing.

Live

DrRota

An intelligent session scheduling platform for GP practices. DrRota uses constraint-based optimisation to generate fair, compliant rotas — saving practices hours of manual planning each week. Currently in pilot with NHS practices in London.

Strategy consulting, programme management and project delivery is provided by our founder Adriaan van Heerden through his independent consultancy practice. Learn more →
